RFK, Jr. – Love Him or Hate Him

Updated on February 2, 2025

No matter what anyone thinks about the nominee for Secretary of Health and Human Services, one undeniable claim he makes is that we are an unhealthy nation.  There are some unpleasant truths about our decline in longevity and general health, and maybe his credibility could have been a bit enhanced had he addressed the following at the hearing.  He missed an opportunity to lay bare the deception perpetrated on a too-trusting population, much like the days when tobacco companies assured us that their product was safe and doctor recommended.

Regarding our nation’s health report card, nearly 70% of Americans take prescription drugs; indeed, we use the most in the world, even though we are only 4.2% of the planet’s population. Promoting prescription drugs directly to the public might be one reason, but we also allow drugs that are illegal in Europe such as Valium, Ritalin, Vicodin, Oxycontin, Xanax, Ativan and Demerol.  We know these drugs can cause addiction and side effects, necessitating more drugs to counteract these.

Basically, we are sick and getting sicker. So although RFK, Jr. seems uniquely unqualified to run HHS, he probably could do no worse than those we have previously entrusted with our health.

He also missed other opportunities in addressing the topic of vaccines.

Most important, we should have been told at the hearing that the CDC changed its definition of vaccines.

Prior to Covid, a vaccine was defined as imparting immunity and inhibiting transmissibility of the disease. You know, like they did with polio and smallpox.  No one wore masks and feared the unvaccinated BECAUSE THEY WERE FULLY PROTECTED anywhere in the world.  But the CDC quickly realized that covid shots did neither, so they diluted its definition with a new one; namely, it was now a preparation to stimulate the body’s immune response against a specific disease.  Not only could the public still have a (false) sense of protection, but labeling the covid shot a vaccine protected drug companies from litigation.  Why aren’t we as outraged at this glaring duplicity as we are with RFK, Jr.?  This vaccine definition change is truly Orwellian, but he failed to mention this.

Janine Small, President of International Developed Markets at Pfizer, testified that the covid shot was never tested for transmissibility.  What?!  The ramifications of this revelation are shocking.  She basically admitted that the vaccinated can still kill Grandma.  Are we mad as hell yet?

Americans for the most part have been prohibited from hearing reports of thousands of deaths shortly following the covid shot, and yet we were still told it was safe.  How far our standards have fallen since 1976, when during the pandemic swine flu mass vaccination, they stopped administering them after only 53 people died.

As pundits will say, there is a lot to unpack here.  But before we pounce on RFK, Jr for his vaccine skepticism, it looks like he might have good reasons for doing so.

For those who still trust our pharmaceuticals, you might want to file this factoid away.  In 2009, the Justice Department announced the largest health care fraud settlement in its history – a $2.3 billion judgment against fraudulent marketing – by Pfizer.

It would behoove us to keep in mind the saying:  Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me.
