Tantric meditation practice is an act that many people frequently enjoy to elevate their love life. Whether you’re single or in a relationship, practising tantric meditation is guaranteed to spice up your life. So, what is tantric meditation and what benefits of tantric meditation can you revel in?
What Is Tantric Meditation?
Tantric meditation fuses breathing, movement and meditation to enable the body to reach a higher state of consciousness. In essence, it helps your Chakra energy system to open and helps a flow of energy which enhances your ability to connect with a partner. Many people practice tantric meditation thanks to its wonderful benefits.
Just be aware that tantric meditation is not the same as tantric sex. While both include sexual energy, tantric meditation focuses on spiritual liberation. You can do tantric meditation both alone and with a partner, becoming purposeful with your breath to deepen the bond you have with yourself.

There are many benefits of tantric meditation, including:
- Improving lovemaking. Adopting tantric meditation for your sex life is definitely going to help you enhance your performance in the bedroom.

Practising Tantric Meditation: step by step routine
So, how do you practice tantric meditation? Here is a step by step guide to practising tantric meditation with a partner.
Step 1 of Third eye meditation
Start this meditation to open your Crown Chakra and Third Eye Chakra. This practice helps to stimulate the flow of energy which moves up and down the spine, as well as helping you to receive divine energy. For this meditation, sit comfortably on a cushion or chair. Place your feet on the floor and ensure your legs are touching the cushion or floor.
Step 2 – Lengthen your spine
Next, we’re going to lengthen the spine. Let’s imagine that there’s a string at the top of our head, pulling it upwards. Inhale. Exhale and imagine that your tailbone is extending towards the floor. Keep your spine completely straight. Breathe naturally.
Step 3 – The gold ball
Imagine there is a small gold ball in the middle of your forehead, between your eyes. Place your tongue on the roof of your mouth and inhale. Imagine rolling this gold ball over your head and down your spine as you chant the word ‘hung’.
Step 4 – Exhale and inhale
As you exhale, roll the ball back up your spine, over the head and chant ‘sau’ as you inhale again.
Step 5 – Balance
Continue this practice for 5 minutes at a time. You can continually practice this until you complete a 20-minute meditation. The aim of this tantric meditation is to affirm your true self by connecting with the earth. These types of meditation are known as activating practice and they’re best combined with nature walks, receiving a massage, weight training and yoga in order to feel balanced. If you want to practice tantric meditation with a partner, you can start by hiring a tantric teacher who will demonstrate the most effective ways to meditate with them.
