A Place At Home Opens in Norco, Elevating Seniors’ In-Home Care Experience

Updated on November 4, 2023

A Place At Home, a senior-focused home care provider franchise, proudly announces its newest location in Norco, California. A Place At Home – Inland Empire West aims to provide compassionate in-home care services to the aging population. Local owner and operator Cheryl Daniels is excited to support seniors after recent exposure to the industry opened her eyes to the challenges of finding quality caregivers in the area.

Having spent over three decades advocating and coordinating resources for her son, who has faced health challenges throughout his life, her journey into caregiving became even more personal after moving her parents out to California. Her experiences echo the difficulties faced by A Place At Home At Home co-founders Dustin Distefano and Jerod Evanich. They’ve all struggled to find acceptable care for their loved ones.

“Helping seniors and their families isn’t just a job for me; it’s a calling,” says Daniels. “A Place At Home’s commitment to enriching the lives of seniors resonates deeply with me. Our shared values of compassion, accountability, respect, and ethics will guide my mission to support families during their most challenging times.”

A Place At Home provides seniors with empathetic care that allows them to age in their homes, but their services go beyond the home. Locations offer families personalized guidance throughout the aging journey, from in-home care to care coordination, finding senior living alternatives, and giving staffing solutions to area facilities. A Place at Home performs nearly 13,000 hours of care a week, which is about 500 people cared for and 650 caregivers employed throughout the United States at more than 24 locations.

Tony Freeman joins Daniels as the head of operations for A Place At Home – Inland Empire West. His dedication to caring for seniors was shaped by his experiences caring for his elderly grandmother and mother.

“I believe this is where I’m meant to be, ensuring seniors and their families receive the care they deserve,” says Freeman. “I look forward to mentoring caregivers to provide the best care in the area.”

A Place At Home – Inland Empire West proudly serves Eastvale, Corona, Chino, Chino Hills, and Norco. The new location will celebrate its grand opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony today, Nov. 2, at 4:30 p.m. A Place At Home – Inland Empire West is located at 1640 2nd Street, Suite 104, Norco, CA 92860.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Cheryl and Tony into our franchise family,” said Dustin Distefano, CEO and co-founder of A Place At Home. “Both of their personal experience with caregiving makes them the perfect fit for our franchise. We can’t wait to watch the business grow and for more Inland Empire area seniors to experience the highest level of care they deserve.”
